Description

It consists of a vertebral Martensite funnel, a 6-hole/cm (16 mesh) filter, a 946 ml measuring cup and a 2000 ml measuring cup. Technical parameters: 1. Mahalanobis funnel: the diameter of the upper cone is 152 mm, the diameter of the lower cone and the guide tube is 4.76 mm, the length of the cone is 305 mm, and the total length of the funnel is 356 mm. 2. The filter screen is 6 cm (16 meshes) 3. The standard measuring cup is 946ml. Usage method: 1. Hold the funnel in an upright position with your hand, place the filter at the top of the funnel, and block the outlet of the diversion pipe with your index finger. 2. Take the drilling fluid sample and inject it into the funnel vertebral body through the filter until the horizontal level of the drilling fluid reaches the bottom of the screen (at this time it is 1500ml). 3. Prepare stopwatch, then release index finger and press stopwatch to record time until the standard 946 measuring cup is full. Record the seconds flowing out of drilling fluid and record funnel viscosity in seconds.

Features

    The Markov funnel viscometer is used on site to determine the relative viscosity of daily drilling fluid (compared to water). It has a simple structure and is easy to operate to reflect the effective viscosity (surface viscosity) under certain conditions. The greater the funnel viscosity (seconds), the greater the apparent viscosity of the drilling fluid.

    Generally, the drilling fluid flows out in a laminar or structural state, which has a reasonable reflection on the viscosity and consistency of the drilling fluid.

    Verification The Markov funnel must be subjected to the necessary verification before leaving the factory and after a period of use. The inspection method is carried out according to the method of use. The water 1500 was poured into the funnel at 21 ± 3 °C (equivalent to 70 °F) to give 946 ml (1 quart) of water for 26 ± 0.5 seconds or 1000 ml of clear water for 28 ± 0.5 seconds.

    Repair and maintenance 1. Every time you use it, you must clean it and wipe it clean. ; 2. Funnel catheter nozzles are not allowed to have bumps and hard air distortion.
